能・狂言に魅せられて♪

きのうは天神の西鉄ホールで師匠の能公演でした。

対談
舞囃子「熊坂」
狂言「止動方角」
能「天鼓-弄鼓之舞」
第一部も第二部も観させていただいたんですが、対談は内容が若干変わっていておもしろかったです。
原則的に第一部はなかったものとするんですね。
舞囃子も中身が変わっていました。
たぶん狂言と能も第一部と第二部では違っていたのではないでしょうか。
僕は今ちょうど「船弁慶」のキリを稽古していることもあって「熊坂」は大変興味深く観させていただきました。
僕もあのような「ぷるんっ」とした長刀さばきを身に付けたいものです。
ところで、熊坂の舞は格好良くて勇ましいんですが、結局牛若丸に切られてしまうんですよね。
つまり敗者。
それに気付いたとき、複式夢幻能形式の曲目がいくつか思い浮かび、能の視点の優しさというか無常さみたいなものがしみじみと感じられました。
これには目頭が熱くなりましたね。
これも舞と謡の卓越した技術があればこそです。
また一歩能にのめり込んだ気がします。
「止動方角」は、個人的には主が落馬した後の太郎冠者の仕草とセリフが好きです。
「天鼓」は、曲趣そのものが好きで、楽の最後辺りで天鼓が鼓を打った後、頭を振るところとか、鼓に再会できたうれしさをからだ全体で表現しているようで、その健気さにぐっときます。
ただ、玉に瑕なのが照明です。
仮にも管弦講が催されているのは夜なのですから、あのギラギラとした照明は何とも興醒めです。
それに幽霊であるはずの天鼓があのような明るいところに現れるとどことなく間抜けな感じがします。
しかしこれは会の趣旨や会場の設備等、いろいろな問題がからんできますから難しいです。
いつかもっと良い環境で天鼓と再会したいです。
でも、フォローするわけではありませんが、あの舞台の音響は結構いいなあと思いました。
囃子の音や足拍子がよく響いていましたから。
えー、要約すると、やっぱホール能は難しいです。

一日に2回同じ演目を見ると、いろんな事が分かりますし、必ず違いが見られます。
二度と同じ能を見ることは事はないのだけど、今回も然り。
同じ役者でも声色やテンポの違いで、曲目全体の趣が変わる事に、少し驚きました。
